The date for the 2023 Sunnyside Dollars for Scholars annual scholarship reception will be announced soon.  This annual event gathers all student scholarship recipients, their parents, and scholarship sponsors to celebrate graduating seniors as they transition to their post-secondary educational opportunities. 

Many scholarships are sponsored in honor or memory of loved ones, for specific academic focuses, for students who participated in specific activities (football, fine arts, CTE / JTED, AVID, etc.), or for students who attended specific schools.

Refreshments and entertainment are provided along with a powerpoint featuring each sponsor and student recipient.  Photographs are taken of each recipient and their sponsor to enhance the shared experience.  Midstate Energy will sponsor this unique Sunnyside experience for the second consecutive year.  Midstate, also sponsors our largest award...a $5000, four-year renewable scholarship at $1250 per year.
