The Sunnyside Foundation is excited to announce applications for the Dollars for Scholars Program will open on Nov. 29, 2023.

Scholarships are awarded to graduating seniors from Desert View, Sunnyside, and S.T.A.R. high schools. This opportunity has been made possible through contributions from district employees, professional associations, community organizations, businesses, and individual donors. Our goal is to assist many deserving students in the Sunnyside community so they can continue their education beyond high school and reach their educational and career goals.

The Dollars for Scholars Program consists of a variety of scholarships with different values depending on the sponsor's funding and specifications. These scholarships will help students pay for college-related expenses such as tuition, books, or housing at any accredited vocational/technical school, community college or university.

More than 40 scholarship awards ranging from $500-$2500 are available.

The application opens Nov. 29, 2023 and closes Jan. 24, 2024.
