My name is Heather McAuley.  I have been in education for 20 years.  15 years at Desert View High School and 5 years at Sunnyside High School.  I grew up in Ventura County, CA and Tucson, AZ.  I graduated from Canyon Del Oro High School (1993) and then attended Northern Arizona University.  I graduated with a bachelors of science in Elementary & Special Education (1997) and a masters of education in School Counseling (2001).  Currently I work in Desert View High School Freshman Academy and handle all scholarships and financial aid for the upper school.

I have been married to the love of my life, Mike for 20 years.  Together we have a beautiful daughter, Grace who is currently a freshman at Canyon Del Oro High School.  I have 1 dog (Dexter) and 1 Desert Tortoise (Chile Pepper).

In my free time, I love to cook, read murder mysteries, take naps, and be around my family and friends.
